Signature Drive This Weekend in Broomfield
Help Overturn Broomfield's Ban on Medical Marijuana
Dispensaries
Broomfield City Council recently passed a ban on medical marijuana
dispensaries in the city. Activists have 1 week to collect 1300
valid signatures of Broomfield registered voters to ask the City
Council to overturn the ban or put the issue on the ballot and let
the voters decide.
Activists are having a signature drive this weekend in Broomfield.
Come and mingle with some of your fellow cannabis activists and
patients and team up to gather signatures and have fun. You don't
have to be a registered voter to circulate the petition. However,
you do have to be a registered Broomfield voter to sign the petition.
This is on a volunteer basis, but there may be funding available
to pay you for your work next week when the emergency fundraising
committee meets. The Cannabis Therapy Institute is donating hemp
leis and medical marijuana lapel pins to all volunteer petition
circulators. Come down and bring your friends!
