Description: The public is invited to observe discussions of the
Department of Revenue's Medical Marijuana Workgroup, which is writing
new rules and regulations for the medical marijuana industry in
Colorado. Topics include patient surveillance systems, government
patient database and tracking systems, potential patient fingerprinting
requirements, and other important issues. Draft rules of 92 pages
are available already. Hundreds of more pages will be written by
January 2011.

marijuana businesses in Colorado -- dispensaries, caregivers, Medical
Marijuana Centers, and Patient Collectives. Adam will focus on Patient
Collectives, a new profitable business model that allows patients
to continue to help other patients without worrying about the regulatory
nightmare and invasion of privacy created by HB1284. The seminar
is designed for Medical Marijuana Center applicants who want to
regain their constitutional protections, for caregivers that may
have been forced out of business by HB1284, for attorneys who represent
medical marijuana clients that are looking for alternative business
models, and for new people looking to get involved in Colorado's
medical marijuana industry.
Adam gave a similar talk for CTI in October. It was such a success,
that we invited Adam to come back to Denver to share his insight
with more people. The Denver seminar will be expanded to cover all
the medical marijuana business models.
